Is my data sent to a server to generate the QR code?
No. The QR code is encoded entirely by JavaScript running in your browser, including the error-correction math — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
What does the Error Correction level control?
Higher error correction lets the QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is damaged, dirty, or covered by a logo — but it also makes the code denser. High (30%) is recommended if you’re adding a center logo.
Will adding a logo make the QR code unscannable?
A small logo covering the center is usually fine because QR codes have built-in redundancy, especially at Quartile or High error correction — but keep the logo under ~20% of the code’s area.
Can I generate a WiFi QR code?
Yes — select “WiFi Network”, enter the SSID, password and security type, and scanning phones will offer to join the network directly without typing the password.
